Manuka Honey, Chia Seeds and Lemon – The fat burning recipes

Before we jump right into the recipe, do know that this recipe is citrusy, hydrating, refreshing and high in nutrients! I’ve also prepared this in a jug to drink it over 2 to days.

Ingredients

  1. 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
  2. 2 tablespoons of Manuka honey (I prefer anything above MGO263+)
  3. 8 slices of fresh lemon
  4. 1 jug of lukewarm water (1000ml
  5. Fresh mint (optional)

Directions

  1. Start by adding the Chia seeds to the jug of water.
  2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. On the Manuka honey, I will always choose to use the above MGO 263+ simply because it has higher benefits and is more cost-effective.
  3. During hotter days, I will add fresh mint to the drinks to give an extra refreshment.

You can play around with the recipe by replacing water with sparkling water to give the extra fizz.
