Before we jump right into the recipe, do know that this recipe is citrusy, hydrating, refreshing and high in nutrients! I’ve also prepared this in a jug to drink it over 2 to days.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons of Manuka honey (I prefer anything above MGO263+)
- 8 slices of fresh lemon
- 1 jug of lukewarm water (1000ml
- Fresh mint (optional)
Directions
- Start by adding the Chia seeds to the jug of water.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. On the Manuka honey, I will always choose to use the above MGO 263+ simply because it has higher benefits and is more cost-effective.
- During hotter days, I will add fresh mint to the drinks to give an extra refreshment.
You can play around with the recipe by replacing water with sparkling water to give the extra fizz.
